The leader of the Great Unity Party, Mustafa Destici, stated that marriage should be encouraged in Turkey, saying, "I will say something very radical. Priority should be given to those who are married when hiring. You should not hire those who are not married. Because this nation is ours, and we need to sustain this nation. Population is the greatest wealth of a nation."

Great Unity Party (BBP) Chairman Mustafa Destici, in his speech at the Ordinary Provincial Congress held at the Atatürk Cultural Center in the central Artuklu district of Mardin, expressed his condolences to the family, relatives, and the police community for police officer Hatice Ünal, who was injured in a traffic accident involving a team vehicle with traffic police in the Alaşehir district of Manisa on November 15 and later martyred in the hospital where she was treated.

"NOBODY CAN DESTROY OUR BROTHERHOOD"

Destici stated that people of different ethnic backgrounds and beliefs live together in peace and unity in Mardin, saying, "God willing, this will continue until the Day of Judgment. Nobody can destroy the brotherhood of our Turkey. As the Turkish nation, we are one, together, and brothers with Kurds, Arabs, and Turkmen. Therefore, we will not give opportunities to those who try to disrupt our unity and destroy our brotherhood, just as we have not done so until today."

"We are brothers with everyone who shows the will to live together under the shadow and beneath this star and crescent flag, which takes its color from the blood of our martyrs, alongside the existence of the state, the integrity of the country, and the brotherhood of the nation, and we will not allow anyone to disrupt our brotherhood. Just as we have not given opportunities to those seeking different identities, different flags, and different anthems until today, with God's permission, we will not give them in the future," Destici said, addressing the grievances caused by terrorism. He continued his remarks: "In the 41-year struggle against the terrorist organization, more than 40,000 people have lost their lives, and 2 trillion dollars have been spent. If this money had been spent on our country, our people, and the people of the region instead of fighting terrorism, there would be no unemployment in the region today. There would be more industrial establishments and factories in the region today."

"IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO JUST SAY 'I LAID DOWN MY ARMS IN TURKEY'"

Referring to the "Terror-free Turkey" process, Destici stated, "It is not enough to just say 'I laid down my arms in Turkey.' If you continue to exist in Syria and Iraq with America, Turkey will not allow this." He expressed that they are in favor of everyone speaking their mother tongue and expressing their identity, stating that they support every individual of this nation in living their customs, beliefs, and traditions.

"WE WANT UNITY, BROTHERHOOD, AND TOGETHERNESS"

Destici noted: "Every state has a name, every nation has a name, every state has an official language and an identity. When you lose these, you become like Iraq or Syria, and you will be divided. We want unity, brotherhood, and togetherness. Just as Kurds, Turks, Arabs, Alevis, Sunnis, and even those with different religious understandings have lived together in these lands for a thousand years, we want to continue on our path as the great Turkish nation, living together with our different ethnic backgrounds. As long as one does not resort to terrorism and violence, everyone can express their views and desires both individually and socially. "We will be one, we will be united, and we will not allow anyone to harm our brotherhood. The Republic of Turkey is a strong state and continues to grow stronger day by day."

"THE VILLAGE GUARD SYSTEM MUST CONTINUE"

Destici stated that security guards fight against terrorism like soldiers and police, and that they are veterans and martyrs, saying, "We thank them on behalf of the nation. We believe that the village guard system should continue."

"YOU WILL NOT HIRE THOSE WHO ARE NOT MARRIED"

Destici expressed that marriage should be encouraged in Turkey, saying: "We should encourage our youth to have children. There are incentives, assistance for those who marry, and interest-free loans, but we believe more concrete steps need to be taken. For example, I will say something very radical. Priority should be given to those who are married when hiring. You will not hire those who are not married. Because this nation is ours, and we need to sustain this nation. Population is the greatest wealth of a nation." Destici also mentioned that a study is being conducted under the name of "citizenship salary," which should be implemented as soon as possible.
