Saltuk, a guest on journalist Mustafa Hoş's program on Radio Sputnik, stated that he was not aware of the process and saw his name for the first time in the published list.
"BERHAN ŞIMŞEK CALLED, I GAVE PERMISSION"
Rahmi Saltuk stated that Berhan Şimşek called him by phone and said his songs and voice could be used.
Saltuk said, "Berhan Şimşek called me and said they could use my songs and voice. I gave permission, but I did not sign any text."
"I WAS UNAWARE OF THE DECLARATION"
Saltuk, stating that he was not aware of the published declaration and the signature list, said he learned about the developments from the press, like the public.
The famous artist said, "I learned it from the news, just like you. I was not aware of the published declaration or the signatures."
"I REQUESTED MY NAME BE REMOVED AS SOON AS I SAW IT"
Saltuk, expressing his surprise upon seeing his name as the first signatory in the declaration, explained that he immediately took action to have his name removed from the list.
Saltuk said, "When I saw my name as the first signatory, I immediately requested its removal from the list, and it was later deleted."
