Following the initiation of an investigation into high pricing practices at the restaurant named 'Bedri Usta', Bedrettin Aydoğdu made a statement. In his statement, Aydoğdu apologized and said, "I respectfully inform the public that I have decided to take a break from my social media posts at the request of my family and friends."
A citizen dining at a restaurant named Bedri Usta recently shared the receipt of their high bill on social media. The response from the restaurant owner, Bedri Aydoğdu, caused a backlash.

Bedri Usta, whose real name is Bedrettin Aydoğdu, responded to the customer who shared the 4,000 lira bill by saying, "You have few followers, let me share it so people can see."
AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED
The Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that an investigation has been initiated ex officio against the Bedri Usta Kebap business and its owner Bedrettin Aydoğdu, following the social media posts containing allegations of high prices from a citizen.
APOLOGY POST FROM BEDRI AYDOĞDU
After the investigation was initiated and the reactions came in, Bedri Aydoğdu shared an apology on his social media account.
Aydoğdu wrote, "Recently, unfounded claims have been made that I liked a comment containing an unacceptable expression in the public eye." He stated, "I clearly express: I did not like this comment and I have no connection with such a statement. I categorically reject any discriminatory and derogatory language."
"I FILED A COMPLAINT REGARDING CONTENT TARGETING ME AND MY FAMILY"
Aydoğdu also wrote: "Those who know me know; I am a person who loves my country, defends the indivisible integrity of our nation, and lives this way. In my business, I have welcomed people from all walks of life, including athletes of the Turkish National Team, with the same care and respect, without any discrimination. Due to fake content and manipulated posts during this process, I and my family have been unjustly targeted in the public eye. Following these developments, a complaint has been filed with the Prosecutor's Office through my lawyers."

Furthermore, I would like to inform the public that any compensation that may arise from this process will be donated to the Mehmetçik Foundation, the Child Protection Agency, and institutions for children with Down syndrome.
