It has been reported that the cause of Medas's death was complications related to liver failure, after being treated in intensive care for about two weeks. Medas's father stated in a statement to TMZ that his son lost his battle for life due to health issues. In an official statement from MTV, it was expressed: "We are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic death of Kirk Medas, a beloved member of the Floribama Shore family. Our hearts are with his family, friends, and fans during this difficult time."
Medas, who was part of the main cast of the show "Floribama Shore," which started in 2017, starred alongside names like Aimee Hall, Nilsa Prowant, Jeremiah Buoni, Codi Butts, Kortni Gilson, Candace Rice, and Gus Smyrnios throughout the program. The beloved series ended in 2022.
Medas also appeared in a special episode of MTV's popular competition "Fear Factor." In this episode, the "Floribama Shore" team competed against the cast of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation."
