Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek announced that the yellow-red club's revenue from UEFA this season is 60 million euros. Özbek stated that efforts to increase revenue streams are ongoing.
Galatasaray's annual ordinary budget meeting was held at the Golden Horn Congress Center. President Dursun Özbek, who spoke at the meeting, explained the details regarding UEFA revenues.
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE PERFORMANCE
Galatasaray, who started the Champions League at the league stage, collected 10 points with 3 wins, 1 draw, and 4 losses in 8 matches. The yellow-red team, who eliminated Juventus in the play-off round to reach the round of 16, faced Liverpool in that round. Despite winning the first match, Galatasaray lost 4-0 away and bid farewell to the tournament at the round of 16.
60 MILLION EURO REVENUE
Dursun Özbek announced that the club earned 60 million euros in revenue from UEFA this season. According to the shared table, Galatasaray reached the highest revenue it has ever obtained from European cups with this figure.
NEW REVENUE TARGETS
Özbek said, "With our performance in the Champions League, we have generated 60 million euros in revenue in the last 2 months. We aim to maintain this level as our successes continue. Broadcasting revenues are not at the desired level. Our efforts to create new revenue sources in the international market continue."
