Journalist Kemal Öztürk reacted to the Aleppo protests held by DEM Party members in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, stating, "It is irresponsible to carry out this action in the Assembly without criticizing the SDF, which is the reason for the crisis and conflict."

The Syrian army carried out an operation against PKK/YPG positions located in the Ashrafiyeh and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods of Aleppo city center. While intense clashes continue in the region, army units that passed the first positions at the entrance of the Ashrafiyeh neighborhood largely took control of the neighborhood by entering from the south, west, and north directions.

It was reported that clashes between the terrorist organization and army units continue in some parts of the neighborhood and along the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood line.

REACTION FROM KEMAL ÖZTÜRK

Journalist Kemal Öztürk reacted to the DEM Party's protest. In a statement on his social media account, Öztürk said, "These are very wrong actions. Not a single day did the DEM Party make a statement asking the SDF and Mazlum Abdi to implement the agreement you signed. It is irresponsible to make this move in the Assembly without criticizing the SDF, which is the cause of the crisis and conflict."
