In the Antakya district of Hatay, the driver of a concrete mixer poured cement into the sewage line. While responding to the question of a person filming him, "What will you do if this gets clogged?" with "I don't know," the company was fined a total of 213,641 lira.
The municipality imposed a total fine of 213,641 lira on the company to which the concrete mixer that poured cement into the sewage line belongs, consisting of 191,876 lira from the municipality and 21,765 lira from the Traffic Branch Directorate teams.
POURED CEMENT INTO THE SEWAGE LINE
A concrete mixer belonging to a company dumped cement waste into the sewage system in the Aksaray neighborhood of central Antakya district. Despite objections from the locals, the official discharged the cement into the sewage. The footage taken by nearby residents was published on social media. In the footage, the driver was seen responding "I don't know" to the question, "What will you do if this gets clogged?"
A FINE OF 213,641 LIRA WAS IMPOSED
Following the disturbing footage, the Hatay Metropolitan Municipality's Zoning Directorate imposed an administrative fine of 191,876 lira on the relevant company. The Traffic Branch Directorate teams also fined the company 21,765 lira. A total fine of 213,641 lira was imposed on the company.
