The General Directorate of Highways provided information about road construction, maintenance, and repair works across the country. It was emphasized that traffic signs should be followed and that drivers should proceed with caution. Lane reductions and road adjustments are being carried out on many highways.
In sections where the construction, maintenance, and repair works of the highways are ongoing, it is necessary to drive slowly and comply with traffic signs and signals.
According to the road status bulletin of the General Directorate of Highways, due to lane narrowing for road construction works on the right collector road of the Susuz bridge junction in the direction of Istanbul-Kırıkkale on the Ankara Ring Road, transportation is being provided in a controlled manner.
MAINTENANCE WORKS ON THE NORTH MARMARA HIGHWAY
Due to road maintenance and repair work on the North Marmara Highway between the Yassıören and Tayakadın junctions, traffic flow is being carried out bidirectionally (in both directions) from Edirne to Istanbul (south) by transferring the lanes.
Due to the arrangement works at the Yeşilkent junction located at the Ankara, Ordu, Sinop road junction of the Samsun Ring Road, transportation continues in a controlled manner, and vehicles heading from Ankara to Sinop are required to use the bus station junction.
ROAD NARROWS TO ONE LANE IN TİREBOLU
Due to the maintenance and repair work of electrical and electronic systems to be carried out in the Security Tunnel at the 34th kilometer of the Tirebolu-Doğankent-Kürtün road, transportation will be provided in a controlled manner from a single lane until 5:00 PM.
Due to culvert construction works at the 31st kilometer of the Kütahya-Eskişehir road (near Kütahya Porselen AŞ factory), transportation is being carried out bidirectionally from a section of the divided road.
Transportation is being conducted in a controlled manner due to construction works on the Karaman-Ermenek road between the 62nd-76th and 82nd-93rd kilometers, landslide prevention works on the Anamur-Aydıncık road between the 44th-45th kilometers, and divided road construction, earthworks, artistic structures, and BSK superstructure works on the Korkuteli-Elmalı road between the 27th-39th kilometers.
Due to road construction work on the Hacılar-Erciyes-Develi road between the 7th-8th kilometers, transportation continues from the service road.
