A 3-year-old child who fell into a pool and nearly drowned at a bungalow facility in the Sapanca district of Sakarya has died in the hospital where he was being treated.
In an incident that occurred at a bungalow facility operating in the Mahmudiye neighborhood of Sapanca, the children of a family named D.Y. and B.Y., who were staying at the facility, fell into the pool inside the bungalow at a moment unnoticed by their family. Sena Y. (3) was the child who fell.
DIED IN HOSPITAL
Noticing the situation, the father pulled the child out of the water and provided first aid. Health teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The little child was taken to Sapanca District State Hospital for treatment. Despite all the interventions, the child could not be saved. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
