Yakup Ü., who brutally beat his father, Selahattin Ü., after he came home drunk in Konya and sent the footage to his uncle, was arrested following the shocking images and was detained by the court he was brought before. It was reported that Selahattin Ü., who had a 53% disability report due to a lung condition, had been subjected to multiple interventions for frequently committing violence against his wife after coming home drunk.
Yakup Ü., who recorded the moments when he assaulted his father Selahattin Ü. in Konya and sent the video to his uncle, was arrested.
The incident occurred last Wednesday in the Selçuklu district. Yakup Ü., who assaulted his father who came home drunk, recorded the moments on his mobile phone. Yakup Ü. then sent the footage to his uncle Bayram Ü., who lives in Kocaeli.

In the video, while assaulting Selahattin Ü., who was lying on the floor in a room of the house, Yakup Ü. said, "Look, I'm beating my dad, oh. Be proud of your nephew. This brother's corpse will remain in my hands," and the footage was shared on social media.
HE WAS ARRESTED BY THE COURT
Following the disturbing footage, the Konya Police Department teams initiated an investigation and detained Yakup Ü. After his statement, Yakup Ü. was referred to the courthouse yesterday and was arrested by the court he was brought before.
PROCEDURES WERE CARRIED OUT FOR ASSAULTING HIS WIFE
It was reported that Selahattin Ü., who has a 53% disability report due to a lung condition, had previously been subjected to legal action multiple times for frequently coming home drunk and assaulting his wife Ü.Ü. The investigation regarding the incident is ongoing.
