4-year-old Zeynep Dila İzgi, who fell into a pool at a summer house she visited with her family in Elazığ and suffered near-drowning, lost her 5-day life struggle at the hospital.
The incident occurred on June 12 at a summer house located in the Hazar Lake area. Zeynep Dila İzgi, who had gone to the summer house for a vacation with her family, fell into the pool due to a momentary lapse of attention and suffered near-drowning. Her relatives, noticing the situation, quickly pulled little Zeynep out of the water and promptly reported it to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
FIVE-DAY LIFE STRUGGLE
Following the report, medical teams were dispatched to the scene promptly. After initial first aid at the scene, İzgi was taken to Elazığ Fethi Sekin City Hospital and admitted to intensive care. Zeynep Dila İzgi, who was under treatment at the hospital, lost her battle for life yesterday despite all the efforts of the doctors.
LAID TO REST IN DIYARBAKIR WITH TEARS
Zeynep Dila's body was received by her family after the completion of autopsy procedures at the hospital. The little girl's funeral was laid to rest at Yeniköy Asri Cemetery in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, accompanied by tears and prayers.
