A TOTAL OF 8 VISITS TO MOSCOW
Kremlin Foreign Policy Advisor Yuri Ushakov made a statement to journalists in the capital Moscow regarding the visit of US President Donald Trump's special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Moscow. Ushakov said that Witkoff and Kushner made their eighth visit to Moscow and noted that the US envoys were received by President Vladimir Putin. Ushakov stated that the meeting lasted about 3 hours, saying, "The resolution of the Ukraine crisis and other current issues were discussed during the meeting."
"PUTIN THANKED TRUMP"
Ushakov emphasized that Putin appreciated the US's mediating role on Ukraine during the meeting, saying, "Putin thanked Trump for his initiatives toward resolving the issue. The Russian side provided a comprehensive assessment of the situation that has developed during the course of the special military operation in Ukraine. It was conveyed that the root causes of the crisis must be eliminated. Putin confirmed his readiness to continue joint work with the Americans toward finding political and diplomatic solutions to the issue. The US envoys will proceed to Kiev after their contacts in Moscow."
