Actor Serhat Kılıç was found dead by his girlfriend at his home in Kağıthane, Istanbul. Reacting to the claims made after Kılıç's death, Şoray Uzun said, 'We do not know the cause of death right now. Presenting assumptions as if they were facts is incompatible with any ethical value.' Uzun emphasized that misinformation should be avoided and stated that the definitive cause of death will be revealed through an official statement.
Actor Serhat Kılıç was found dead at his home in Istanbul's Kağıthane district. His girlfriend Özlem Esmergül, who had not heard from him since Thursday, entered the apartment with a key and found Kılıç motionless. The exact cause of death of the famous actor will be determined after examinations at the Forensic Medicine Institute.
The incident occurred around 17:00 yesterday in the Nurtepe neighborhood of Kağıthane. Özlem Esmergül (50), who had not heard from Serhat Kılıç since Thursday, went to the actor's home.
Esmergül, who received no response despite knocking on the door, entered the apartment with the key she had. Finding Kılıç motionless, sitting in a single armchair in the living room, Esmergül noticed that the actor was not breathing and his body was cold, and called the 112 Emergency Call Center.
MEDICAL TEAMS CONFIRMED HIS DEATH
Upon the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. Medical teams determined during their examination that Serhat Kılıç had died.
Informing the police, Özlem Esmergül stated that Kılıç had lymphatic cancer and that she had not heard from him since Thursday.
Following the prosecutor's investigation, Kılıç's lifeless body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute to determine the exact cause of death.
ŞORAY UZUN: WE DON'T KNOW THE CAUSE OF DEATH
Following Kılıç's death, his colleague Şoray Uzun reacted to the claims that emerged. Speaking in front of the Forensic Medicine Institute, Uzun said that the official statement regarding the cause of death should be awaited, stating the following:
"Right now, we don't know the cause of death. We can only speak based on assumptions. However, presenting assumptions as if they were facts is incompatible with any ethical value. We will wait, and the official statement will be made."
"WE MUST STAY AWAY FROM INFORMATION POLLUTION"
Requesting that unconfirmed information regarding the cause of death not be shared, Uzun said, "We need to avoid creating information pollution and not disrespect the memory of the deceased."
Using the words, "We have lost a very talented, versatile, and very good actor; a very good person, our friend. Words fail us," regarding Kılıç, Uzun expressed his sadness.
"LIFE IS TRULY SHORT"
Stating that he had not been able to see Serhat Kılıç for about two years, Şoray Uzun also made a striking call to his fans:
"It's always like this; you say, 'We'll see tomorrow, I'll call you the day after.' Yet life is truly short, and death is very sudden. Whoever you love, call them without delay or postponement. Meet up, see each other."
It was stated that Kılıç's body would be released after his family's decision and that he was expected to be buried in Ankara.
