A 26-year-old physiotherapist named Simge Bayram was seriously injured and taken to the hospital after being hit by a car at a pedestrian crossing while on her way to driving lessons in the Merkezefendi district of Denizli. It was learned that the healthcare worker, who passed away in the hospital, was preparing for her wedding scheduled to take place in a month. The accident occurred yesterday around 5:00 PM on Ali Marım Boulevard in the Selçukbey neighborhood of Merkezefendi. According to the information obtained, 26-year-old Simge Bayram, who worked as a physiotherapist at a private hospital, attempted to cross the pedestrian crossing in front of Lütfi Ege Anadolu High School while trying to reach her driving course for lessons. A car with the license plate 34 DPB 653, driven by S.T., hit the young healthcare worker who was crossing the pedestrian crossing. Simge Bayram was seriously injured and dragged for meters due to the impact.
DESPITE ALL DOCTORS' INTERVENTIONS, SHE COULD NOT BE SAVED
Upon the notification of the surrounding people, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Simge Bayram, who was left in a pool of blood, was taken to Servergazi State Hospital by ambulance after the first intervention at the scene. Despite all the doctors' efforts, Simge Bayram, who was treated in intensive care, could not be saved. Bayram's body was taken to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institution Denizli Regional Directorate for autopsy.
SHE WAS TO GET MARRIED IN A MONTH
The driver of the car, S.T., who caused the death of the pedestrian crossing the street, was taken into custody, while it was learned that the deceased physiotherapist Simge Bayram was preparing to unite her life with civil engineer O.Ç. in a wedding scheduled for a month later. It was reported that the young healthcare worker's funeral would be held in the Kaymakçı neighborhood of Ödemiş district in İzmir.
