The end of the road has come for Ford's Focus model, which has sold millions of units since 1998. The last vehicle produced at the factory in Germany rolled off the assembly line on November 15.
One of the most preferred models of Ford worldwide, the Focus, has officially been discontinued. The company announced that the last Focus produced at its factory in Germany rolled off the production line on November 15.
Launched in 1998, the Focus reached millions of sales over four generations, becoming one of the brand's strongest representatives in the European market. Thus, the model has concluded its existence of over a quarter of a century.
THE PERFORMANCE VERSION FOCUS ST HAS SAID GOODBYE
The production of the Focus ST, known as the strongest version of the Focus family, has also been halted.
MONDEO AND FIESTA PRODUCTION HAS ALSO STOPPED
As Ford made significant changes to its product range in recent years, it ended the production of the Mondeo in 2022 and the Fiesta in 2023. With the withdrawal of the Focus, the brand's popular trio in Europe has completely become a thing of the past.
IT BECAME A VERY POPULAR MODEL IN TURKEY AS WELL
Since 1998, the Focus has gained a wide user base in the Turkish market, becoming one of the defining models in the compact class. With both sedan and hatchback versions, it found its place among the best-selling cars in Turkey for many years.
