Trabzonspor's new transfer Mohamed Salah signed a 2-year contract in front of approximately 30 thousand fans at a magnificent ceremony at the Şenol Güneş Sports Complex stadium.
GREAT EXCITEMENT AT PAPARA PARK
The Egyptian star footballer, who appeared before his fans alongside Club President Ertuğrul Doğan amid chants of "Allah Allah Allah, Mohamed Salah," walked around the stands one by one and greeted the supporters. Salah, wearing the number 10 burgundy-blue jersey, tried to respond to the fans' displays of affection and led them in a three-beat cheer.
''IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE FOR ME''
The Egyptian footballer, who then signed a 2-year contract alongside President Ertuğrul Doğan, addressed the fans, saying, "Hello, I wish I could speak Turkish, but I can't speak Turkish. Let me express my feelings like this. I have never seen such a thing, such a welcome before in my life. You have shown incredible affection both yesterday and today. It was unbelievable for me as well. I thank everyone at the club and our president very much. I am incredibly happy to be here. I am here to achieve things, to win trophies for this club. I can't wait to play the matches and prepare for training for you."
HE SIGNED THE OFFICIAL CONTRACT
After the statements, Salah signed the contract that binds him to the burgundy-blue colors. Following the signing ceremony, Doğan gave the signing pen to Salah as a memento of the day.
STATEMENTS FROM ERTUĞRUL DOĞAN
Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan, who made statements at the signing ceremony, said, "Mohamed Salah is a true world star. Hopefully, he will be very successful at Trabzonspor as well. Our aim is to go as far as we can both in Europe and in Turkey. I thank Muçi. His coming and giving his jersey to Mohamed Salah on his own was, I believe, a very important stance and a very significant indicator. I have explained before. We had plans for 2 players, maybe 3, no more. If a very good offer comes, it could happen. Other than that, there will be no more departures. Maybe we could loan out the young forward we just acquired. We talked to him about this development when we signed him."
