Scandalous allegation: 12 babies' deaths were overlooked for the sake of unjust profit.

10.10.2024 22:10

The claim that a hospital gang based in Istanbul caused the deaths of innocent babies for unjust profit has caused an uproar. It was discovered that babies who did not need to stay in the hospital were kept for 14 days to make it appear that the intensive care units were full and to bill the Social Security Institution (SGK). Additionally, it was learned that during this time, neglected and inadequately cared for babies lost their lives, while the healthcare workers involved in the crime embezzled over 1 billion TL.

Turkey has been shaken by the pain of two women who were brutally murdered, 8-year-old Narin Güran and 2-year-old Sıla, who lost her life due to sexual abuse. A horrifying claim has emerged that 12 babies died in Tekirdağ, Çorlu, and Istanbul due to negligence for the sake of unjust profit, allegedly involving healthcare workers. The treacherous plan devised by 112 Emergency Service workers, doctors, and nurses resulted in the deaths of babies who were kept in incubators without sufficient nutrition for 14 days. In this scandal, where 25 healthcare workers have been arrested, reports indicated that the babies were not adequately fed and lacked vitamins, which led to their deaths.

THE TRUTH WAS REVEALED BY A GRIEVING MOTHER

A series of negligence came to light through a mother's cry. It was reported that the scandal, covered in Habertürk's Main News, was uncovered when a new mother complained that her baby had not been shown to her for 14 days and that she had not even been able to breastfeed. With the mother's complaint being investigated, it was discovered through the research conducted by the Financial Crimes Investigation Department and the Primary Health Directorate that there was a gang consisting of doctors and healthcare workers. In the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the Büyükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was found that while other hospitals with sufficient equipment, doctors, and nurses had empty intensive care units, hospitals connected to the gang, which were inadequate and sometimes even lacked doctors, were overflowing.

As the trial process begins regarding the incident involving the arrest of 25 healthcare workers, efforts are ongoing to determine whether the gang has connections in other provinces as well.
