DEATH TOLL FROM EARTHQUAKE DISASTER RISES TO 1,430

Venezuelan National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez announced that the number of deaths from the earthquakes in the country has risen to 1,430, and the number of injured to 3,238.

INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT GROWS

Venezuelan Interim President Delcy Rodriguez announced that rescue teams from 10 more countries were on their way to support search and rescue efforts.

Venezuelan Deputy Foreign Minister Oliver Blanco stated that over 1,600 rescue personnel from various countries around the world have arrived in the country to support the efforts following the two major earthquakes, and that 25 more aircraft are expected to arrive in Venezuela within the next 24 hours.
