A new development has occurred in the drug investigation involving detained former Habertürk Editor-in-Chief Mehmet Akif Ersoy. A suspect named İpek M., who was taken into custody by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie, made various allegations regarding Mehmet Akif Ersoy and his circle in her statement to the prosecutor's office. İpek M. claimed that the game 'Truth or Dare?' was played at some house parties, followed by sexual relations.
A new development has occurred in the drug investigation involving former Habertürk Editor-in-Chief Mehmet Akif Ersoy, who is currently in custody. The statement given by the suspect named İpek M., who was detained by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie teams as part of the investigation, has been added to the case file. In her statement, the suspect made various allegations regarding Ersoy and his circle.
ALLEGATION OF "DRUGS WERE APPEARING"
According to a report in Sabah; İpek M. stated in her testimony that the events date back to 2022, claiming that drugs appeared in some environments where Mehmet Akif Ersoy was present. The suspect also used expressions pointing to Ersoy regarding the procurement of drugs.
IT WAS ALLEGED THAT "HE DROVE A VEHICLE WITH A SIREN"
In her statement, the suspect also claimed that Mehmet Akif Ersoy was sometimes under the influence of alcohol and drugs, asserting that she witnessed him driving a vehicle with a siren in that state.
ALLEGATION OF "TRUTH OR DARE? THEY PLAYED AND ENGAGED IN RELATIONS"
İpek M. stated, "Drugs were appearing in the environments we were in, most likely Akif was bringing them," pointing to Ersoy regarding drug supply. İpek M. claimed that at some house parties, names such as Tolga Aykut, Mehmet Akif Ersoy, Buse Ö., and Tuğba Ö. were present together, and that the game "Truth or Dare?" was played in those environments, followed by sexual relations.
ERSOY HAD GIVEN A STATEMENT UNDER THE SCOPE OF EFFECTIVE REMORSE
On the other hand, it was reported that Mehmet Akif Ersoy had recently given a statement in order to benefit from the provisions of effective remorse, in which he pointed to the former General Manager of Habertürk, Veyis Ateş, and made allegations regarding the process of becoming accustomed to drugs.
