"School hours" decision in Istanbul! Education will be conducted between these hours on Monday.

Statement from Istanbul Governorship;

"The 2024-2025 academic year will start on Monday, September 9, 2024. In Istanbul, a total of 2,951,685 students will begin their education in official and private schools, with 715,835 of these students starting their education in new schools for the first time.

With the opening of schools, more than 16,000 student transportation services will be on the roads. It is anticipated that the circulation caused by the service vehicles and parents in the first few days will lead to congestion in city traffic.

Therefore, it has been decided that education will take place in all schools in Istanbul from 10:00 to 15:00 on Monday, September 9, 2024, when schools will open."
