Baykar's top executives Selçuk Bayraktar and Haluk Bayraktar, who achieved great global success with national UAV exports, have become Turkey's top income taxpayers for the 5th consecutive time in the 2021-2025 period. In 2025, the total income tax declared by the two executives reached 5.5 billion liras, while the company signed a record export of 2.2 billion dollars.
The global success achieved by Baykar, Turkey's defense and aviation giant, in national armed UAV exports has made the company executives the top income tax payers in Turkey for 5 consecutive years. Baykar Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar and General Manager Haluk Bayraktar became tax champions consecutively from 2021 to 2025.
According to data from the Revenue Administration (GİB), Baykar Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar and Baykar General Manager Haluk Bayraktar have maintained their position in the top two spots of the tax record list for the past 5 years.
TOTAL TAX DECLARATION OF 5.5 BILLION TL IN 2025
According to the announced 2025 taxation period data:
- Selçuk Bayraktar: 2 billion 991 million 536 thousand TL
- Haluk Bayraktar: 2 billion 502 million 27 thousand TL
declared income tax. The total income tax paid by the two executives for 2025 reached 5 billion 493.6 million TL. In the record approximately 18-fold increase in the tax amount paid by Baykar executives since 2021, the company's export-oriented growth model was decisive.
NEW RECORD OF 2.2 BILLION DOLLARS IN EXPORTS
Baykar, the undisputed export leader of the defense and aviation sector for the last 5 years, broke a new record in 2025 by increasing its export figure to 2.2 billion dollars. The company's export trend by year was as follows:
- 2021: 664 million dollars
- 2022: 1.2 billion dollars
- 2023 & 2024: 1.8 billion dollars each
- 2025: 2.2 billion dollars
The company, which signed supply contracts with a total of 39 different countries, including 36 countries for the Bayraktar TB2 armed UAV and 16 countries for the Bayraktar AKINCI armed UAV, maintained its place among Turkey's top 10 exporting companies across all sectors for the 3rd consecutive time.
GROWTH ENTIRELY FROM OWN RESOURCES, WITHOUT INCENTIVES OR CREDITS
Baykar, which has carried out all its projects with its own resources since its establishment, continues its operations without receiving cash incentives, grants, or order guarantees from the state. The company finances its R&D and production processes entirely from its own revenues, without even using bank loans. The company, which has derived approximately 90% of its revenues from exports since 2003, is now focusing on space technologies while providing employment to more than 8,500 people in its domestic and international subsidiaries.
