Serbia announced that it has canceled its arms supply contracts with Russia. The decision, announced by Chief of General Staff General Milan Mojsilovic, was made in response to the increasing pressure of international sanctions on Russia and Belgrade's shift towards seeking alternative military equipment.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilovic, stated that arms supply contracts have been canceled. Mojsilovic said, "Deliveries of weapons from the Russian Federation are currently practically impossible. We are trying to overcome the new situation through diplomatic channels."
SOME CONTRACTS HAVE BEEN POSTPONED
While some contracts have been canceled, others have been postponed until international relations normalize. Belgrade is now focusing on procuring military equipment from different sources such as Israel, China, and Western countries.
335 MILLION DOLLAR AGREEMENT WITH ISRAEL
While Serbia is signing major agreements such as the procurement of 12 Rafale fighter jets from France, it is also advancing military cooperation with Israel. Israel's Elbit Systems has made agreements worth 335 million dollars to deliver PULS rocket artillery systems and Hermes 900 unmanned aerial vehicles to Serbia.
MAINTENANCE OF MILITARY EQUIPMENT IS NOT DISRUPTED
The Serbian army is ensuring the supply of spare parts for existing Soviet and Russian-designed equipment with a sustainable and flexible system. Mojsilovic did not provide details on this matter but stated that the maintenance of military equipment is not being neglected.
EU MEMBERSHIP GOAL CONTINUES
While Serbia maintains its policy of military neutrality, it is also accelerating its efforts to join the European Union. President Aleksandar Vucic expressed that they are determined to strengthen their country's EU membership goal. These efforts are leading Belgrade to deepen its military relations with the West and move away from Russia.
