SERBIA SUSPENDS AMMUNITION SALES TO ISRAEL

Speaking after an expanded board meeting of the Serbian General Staff in the capital Belgrade, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated that his country sees both Israel and Iran as friends. Vucic expressed that they did not hide the fact that they sold ammunition to Israel after October 7, 2023, and that despite criticism, they are determined to support Israel. President Vucic noted that they have stopped the sale of ammunition to Israel, which is in conflict with Iran.

"BOTH ISRAEL AND IRAN ARE OUR FRIENDLY COUNTRIES"

Conveying that they want peace in the Middle East, Vucic said, "Both Israel and Iran are our friendly countries. Jews have always been respected here. Both peoples are our friends."

"THE USA HAS CLEARLY VIOLATED INTERNATIONAL LAW"

Evaluating the USA's attacks on nuclear facilities in Iran, Vucic stated: "International law has been clearly violated. There is no justice or rules anymore. How will the West teach Russia or anyone else about territorial integrity? Everyone has violated these rules. The world is being dragged into chaos. It is now as if everyone has the right to attack anyone. Madness has spread across the world. There is no one left to trust."

Vucic mentioned that they want to strengthen the Serbian army and that significant work has been done in this regard over the past 10 years.

Stating that they will initiate mandatory military service in Serbia, Vucic added that efforts are being made to improve the conditions for professional soldiers.
