Serdar Ortaç, who was detained as part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding allegations of promoting illegal gambling, was brought to the courthouse along with 15 other suspects. Recorded footage showed that Ortaç had difficulty standing, while social media influencer İbrahim Yılmaz was seen waving to the cameras.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has identified the identities of 23 suspects, including social media influencers and some famous names, in the investigation regarding allegations of illegal gambling promotion.

Among the suspects alleged to have appeared in illegal gambling advertisements are singer Serdar Ortaç, presenter Mehmet Ali Erbil, former football player Batuhan Karadeniz, social media influencers İbrahim Yılmaz, Muzaffer Zorbey Erkoçlar, Sefa Caner Sarıçam, and Russian and Turkish citizen Aleksander Mensikof.

TRANSFERRED TO THE COURT AFTER HEALTH CHECK

In an operation organized by the Istanbul Police Department, 16 of the suspects, including Mehmet Ali Erbil and Serdar Ortaç, were detained. It was learned that 5 of the suspects are abroad, and efforts are ongoing to locate the other 2. The 16 suspects, whose procedures at the police station have been completed, were transferred to the court after a health check.

Footage of the moment when famous singer Serdar Ortaç was transferred to the court has also emerged. In the footage, it is noticeable that Ortaç had difficulty standing, while social media influencer İbrahim Yılmaz drew attention by waving to the cameras.
