Şevval Sam stated that she wanted to review the past 30 years with songs and said, "I didn't realize it while spending 30 years, but when I look back, I see that I have done my best with music and art to do justice, that I have always had an honest relationship with my profession and that I have been honest with the audience and the listeners, and that I have worked hard to ensure that what I do and say do not contradict each other. I did my best to be worthy of this gift given to me. I worked to improve myself, to learn something. I have always been honest and shared everything I have done with the audience and the listeners. This both healed me and developed and grew me," she said. "THERE HAS NEVER BEEN SOMETHING I DREAMED OF AND COULDN'T ACHIEVE UNTIL NOW"Sam, who mentioned that there are always regrets in life, said, "My whole life has passed by making mistakes when necessary without being afraid of making mistakes and taking risks if necessary. I say thank you for everything, including the mistakes I made. I work hard so that there are no regrets. I work because I love my job very much and I dream. Thank God, there has never been anything I dreamed of and couldn't achieve," she said. "I WILL RESET MYSELF AND WRITE A NEW STORY"Sam mentioned that she may experience a long period of pause next year and said the following: "I have planned things, but of course, there is a saying 'Man proposes, God disposes.' I need to return to my source and nourish myself a little. When I don't brainstorm about my work, new ideas don't come to my mind. When there is no time, I can't review myself. I will take a break and review my story. Today is the 30th year, maybe I will experience a reset with this concert and start again to write a story. Let's see how the story of the next 130 years will be," she said. SHE DISTRIBUTED POSTCARDS AND TISSUES THAT SHE WROTE TO THE AUDIENCEThe artist emphasized that she wrote the verses on the postcards and tissues given to the audience at the concert and said, "I have sung very different songs in the past 30 years. I discovered life with songs and the work I do. Actually, this is a thank you concert and we will share it together," she said. SHE PERFORMED A DUET WITH HER MOTHERŞevval Sam was accompanied by her mother Leman Sam, her son Taro Emir Tekin, her friends, and her fans at her 30th-anniversary concert. The famous artist talked about her journey into music and said, "The story that started with Süper Baba was not something I planned. But you come with a package and there is such an energy inside you that you can't prevent it. No one asked me for a composition, but in 1998, I made two songs and one of the best voices in Turkey sang both of them. Look at my luck, that best voice is my mother Leman Sam," she said. After her speech, Sam invited Leman Sam to the stage, saying, "Mom, can I show off with you if you allow me?" and the duo performed the song "Gül Güzeli."
