Famous artist Şevval Sam denied the claims that she received 5.3 million lira for the Republic Day concert in İzmir. Responding to reporters' questions at Istanbul Airport, Sam stated, "The mentioned figures are definitely not true. The amount in question is the total cost of the entire organization and has nothing to do with me. I only receive my share."
Şevval Sam, who gave a concert in Cyprus over the weekend, was spotted at Istanbul Airport upon her return to Istanbul. Responding to reporters' questions, the famous artist clarified the claims that she received 5.3 million lira for the Republic Day concert in Izmir on October 29.
''The mentioned figures are definitely not true,'' said Şevval Sam, making a striking statement regarding the fees in the market.
''I ONLY TAKE MY SHARE''
Şevval Sam stated, ''If a market research is conducted, it will be very clear how much everyone is receiving. In a free market, anyone can ask for any amount they want. However, we have no connection to these figures whatsoever. The amount mentioned is the total cost of the entire organization and has nothing to do with me. I only take my share.''
The artist also reminded her commitment to social responsibility projects in the face of allegations and criticisms. She mentioned that she has given free concerts for women and supported many social projects.
