It has been revealed that a 79-year-old woman in Beyoğlu was killed by her son. The person who reported to the police that his mother was lying motionless had assaulted the unfortunate woman.

A person in Beyoğlu, Istanbul called the police to report, "My mother is lying motionless at home." Investigations at the scene revealed that the individual had beaten and killed his 79-year-old mother. The suspect, who was taken into custody by the police, was arrested by the court he was brought to and sent to prison.

The incident occurred on November 24, 2024, on Tepebaşı Street in the Çatma Mescit neighborhood of Beyoğlu. E.İ., 57 years old, called the police to report that his mother was lying motionless at home. Following the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Initial examinations conducted by the medical teams at the scene determined that 79-year-old M.S., who was lying motionless on her back on the ground, had passed away.

SWELLINGS ON HIS HANDS GAVE AWAY HIS CRIME

Detailed examinations conducted by the police at the scene revealed that E.İ. had swellings on his hands. Upon this, the son E.İ. stated that he had a brief argument with his mother in the evening and then went to sleep, and when he woke up in the morning, he found his mother lying motionless. It was learned that the suspect had argued with his mother, and after a while, this argument turned into a fight, resulting in the woman being beaten by E.İ. and subsequently passing away.

The suspect E.İ. was later taken into custody and brought to the police station. After his procedures at the police station, he was arrested by the court he was brought to for the crime of 'Intentional Murder' and sent to prison.
