At a mosque in Zeytinburnu, former World Kickboxing Champion Yavuz Özden assaulted a cleaning staff member, Osman Amaç, who warned him for kicking the disabled toilet. Amaç, who suffered a broken jaw and partial facial paralysis, underwent surgery and filed a complaint against the boxer. Security camera footage of the incident shows Özden repeatedly punching Amaç for several minutes.

According to the allegation, the individual who wanted to check the disabled toilet attempted to enter by kicking the door. The official intervened, stating that such a check could not be conducted in that manner and that complaints should be directed to the municipality. Although the argument between them seemed to have ended, an attack on the official occurred after the evening prayer.
