In the Ceylanpınar district of Şanlıurfa, 14-year-old 9th grade student Menderes Durmuş, who was playing ball with his friends at a high school, suddenly fell ill and suffered a heart attack. Despite his teachers performing CPR, the young man could not be saved and died at the hospital.

COLLAPSED WHILE PLAYING BALL
The incident occurred at Ceylanpınar Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. According to the information obtained, 9th grade student Menderes Durmuş suddenly fell ill and collapsed while playing ball with friends in the schoolyard.
Upon being notified by friends who noticed the situation, teachers rushed to the scene. During the check, it was noticed that the student's pulse had stopped.
TEACHERS PERFORMED CPR
The school administration, having notified the medical teams, performed CPR on the student until the ambulance arrived. Durmuş, taken to Ceylanpınar State Hospital by ambulance with the medical teams arriving at the scene, could not be saved despite all interventions by the doctors.
“OUR PAIN IS INDESCRIBABLE”
The death of the 14-year-old student caused great sorrow at the school. In a post on its social media account, the school administration used the expression “Our pain is indescribable.”
While Menderes Durmuş's body was taken to the morgue for autopsy, it was learned that the exact cause of death will be clarified after the examination.
