The Panama-flagged vessel 'Queen Bee' transiting the Bosphorus experienced an engine failure. While Bosphorus traffic was suspended, teams from the Directorate General of Coastal Safety were dispatched to the area.
Traffic on the Bosphorus has been suspended due to a malfunction on a Panama-flagged vessel.
The Panama-flagged ship named "Queen Bee," which was transiting the Bosphorus, experienced an engine malfunction off the coast. To prevent the risk of the ship drifting uncontrollably, Bosphorus traffic has been temporarily closed to vessel passages in both directions.
TEAMS DISPATCHED TO THE AREA
Following the report of the incident, rescue tugboats and teams from the General Directorate of Coastal Safety were quickly dispatched to the area. Efforts are ongoing to tow the malfunctioning vessel to a safe zone and restore normal Bosphorus traffic.
