The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced that a Patriot defense system will be established in Malatya by NATO to increase defense measures against air and missile attacks on Turkey during the US-Israel and Iran war.

Especially after missile parts fell in Hatay and Gaziantep, the process was accelerated, and Patriot defense systems were shipped from Germany to Malatya by air.
It has been learned that the system, which has started to be brought to Malatya, is being deployed at the radar base located in the Kürecik neighborhood of the Akçadağ district. The Patriot system brought from Germany to the 7th Main Jet Base in Malatya is expected to be activated shortly.
