An operation was carried out in Etiler against the restaurant owned by Ferdi Tayfur's son-in-law, Muhammet Aydın, for 'high billing'. Following complaints from 6 people who were directed to the restaurant by women they met on a dating app, authorities detained 5 women and 4 employees at the establishment. The incident occurred on Friday, June 5, around 19:45, at the restaurant located in Beşiktaş Etiler District. According to the information obtained, Tahir E. (49), Mehmet Halil T. (28), Sinan A. (37), Recep A. (34), Ömer Y. (36), and Kağan G. (41) filed a complaint, stating that women they met through a dating app brought them to the restaurant under the pretext of having a meal, and then they were charged an exorbitant bill.
THEY MET AT A COFFEE SHOP AND TOOK THEM TO THE RESTAURANT
Teams from the Beşiktaş Public Order Bureau, who launched an investigation into the matter, identified the women as İrem H. (24), Negın A. S. (27), Selin G. (22), Yasemin A. (24), and Beyza Gül T. (24). It was alleged that the women acted in collusion with the establishment's employees Umut E. (27), Barış Ç. (43), Uğur K. (45), and Ebubekir Ş. (28). During the investigations, Burak A. (38), who was determined to have organized the incident, along with Ferdi Tayfur's son-in-law and business owner Muhammet Aydın, were taken into custody.
THE DEVICE RECORDING CAMERA FOOTAGE WAS REMOVED 1 DAY AFTER THE OPERATION
Teams that went to the establishment one day after the incident to review footage discovered that the security camera recording device in the restaurant was missing and the cables had been removed. The establishment's employees claimed the device had malfunctioned and was sent for repair. After the recording device was not handed over, legal action was taken against Muhammet Aydın for the crime of 'destroying, concealing, or altering evidence.'

On the other hand, inspections at the establishment revealed that 7 people were working without insurance and tobacco products were consumed in an enclosed area. It was learned that suspect Muhammet Aydın had 9 prior criminal records, and Burak A. had 2 prior criminal records at the police station. Among the establishment's employees, Umut E. had a record for 'qualified fraud,' Uğur K. for 'intentional injury,' and İrem H. for 'kidnapping and detaining a child.' The other suspects were found to have no criminal records.
