Workers from the city hospital, who were dismissed by ATR Yapı Company, owned by the President of the Turkish Football Federation, İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, without receiving their salaries and compensations, started a protest in front of the company headquarters. The workers organized a protest by sitting in front of the company with suitcases they brought along.

ATR Yapı, owned by TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, won the supplementary tender organized for the completion of Sakarya City Hospital. The company had also won the first tender in 2021.



COST 6 BILLION TL



The first tender for the 1,000-bed City Hospital, built on 300 acres of land in Adapazarı, was held by the Ministry of Health on July 13, 2021. ATR Yapı won this tender for 1 billion 248 million 61 thousand TL. However, as the hospital could not be completed in 2 years, a supplementary tender was held on December 13, 2024. ATR Yapı also won this tender for 4 billion 825 million TL. Thus, the total cost of the hospital reached 6 billion 73 million 61 thousand TL.



PROTEST BEGAN IN FRONT OF THE COMPANY



The city hospital workers who were laid off by ATR Yapı Company, owned by Turkey Football Federation President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, without paying their salaries and compensations, started a protest in front of the company headquarters. The workers sitting in front of the company also brought their suitcases with them. The workers blocked the entrance of the plaza where ATR YAPI is located.



The Construction Workers' Union, which shared the footage, noted, "Either you give us what is rightfully ours and stop playing with our dignity, or we will do everything we can with the power of our legitimacy and justice! You will learn that construction workers are not slaves!"
