Heavy downpours are anticipated in the Marmara and Black Sea regions, while mixed rain and snow are expected in the highlands of Eastern Anatolia. It was noted that temperature values will drop, and a yellow alert has been issued for 12 provinces.

MIXED RAIN IS EXPECTED

According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology; it is predicted that the southern and eastern parts of Marmara, the Aegean Coast, the Black Sea, the northern part of Ankara, the coasts of Hatay, Sivas, Çankırı, Antalya, Adana, Osmaniye, Ardahan, and Kars will experience rain and heavy showers, while the highlands of the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the northeastern highlands of Eastern Anatolia are expected to have mixed rain and snow.

The air temperature will decrease by 3 to 5 degrees in Marmara and the Western Black Sea, while there will be no significant change in other places. The wind will generally blow lightly from the southern directions, occasionally at a moderate strength.

The General Directorate of Meteorology listed the 12 cities where strong downpours are expected today and issued a yellow code warning.

Here are the provinces that received the warning: Bolu, Bursa, Istanbul, Kastamonu, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Sinop, Zonguldak, Bartın, Yalova, Karabük, and Düzce.
