Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş reported that after the adjustment to the civil servant salary coefficient, Home Care Allowance increased to 15,755 lira, Social and Economic Support (SED) payment to 11,038 lira, elderly pension to 7,257 lira, disability pension for 40-69% disability to 5,793 lira, and disability pension for 70% and above to 8,689 lira.

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that after the adjustment in the civil servant salary coefficient, increases have been made in Home Care Assistance, SED payments, and elderly and disability pensions.

Emphasizing that they are working to increase the accessibility and effectiveness of social services and assistance, Göktaş underlined that they are acting with the goal of leaving no citizen behind within the framework of the Türkiye Century vision.

Stating that after the new regulation, they will deposit the increased monthly payments of social assistance programs into the beneficiaries' accounts, Göktaş noted that the elderly pension has risen from 6,393 lira to 7,257 lira.

Minister Göktaş reported that the pension for those with a disability rate between 40-69 percent has increased from 5,103 lira to 5,793 lira, for those with a disability report of 70 percent and above from 7,655 lira to 8,689 lira, and the pension for relatives of disabled individuals under 18 has been raised from 5,103 lira to 5,793 lira.

HOME CARE ASSISTANCE BECAME 15,755 LIRA

Noting that the Home Care Assistance, provided to an average of 516,000 disabled individuals per month, has increased from 13,878 lira to 15,755 lira for the July-December period of this year, Göktaş stated that they have provided 48.6 billion lira in home care assistance this year.

Reminding that they offer SED services for children to needy families, Göktaş emphasized that within this scope, the amount of economic support per child in SED services has increased from 9,723 lira to 11,038 lira.

Göktaş also stated that the average monthly payment per child to foster families has been increased from 15,532 lira to 17,632 lira.
