The TV series Kızılcık Şerbeti, broadcast on Show TV, this time made headlines with the statements of actress Cansu Taşkın. Taşkın, stating that she received questions about why she was not in the series, explained in a post on her social media account the process of joining the project and her claims regarding her departure from the series.

Taşkın, who stated that she appeared in three episodes and that she was told from the very beginning how the story of the character she would play would progress, expressed that she had two different projects before her at the same time.
Emphasizing that she went through an intense preparation process in order to choose Kızılcık Şerbeti, Taşkın expressed her regret over her decision in the following words:
“Two projects had been offered, and I chose this project. I passed the audition by working until dawn among who knows how many people. It turned out to be the worst decision of my life. I wish I had accepted that other big project.”
