Soldier Yavuz Güney, who was injured by an accident bullet in Silvan, has been martyred.

In Silvan district of Diyarbakır, it was learned that Jandarma Specialist Sergeant Yavuz Güney lost his life due to an accidental gunshot from his friend's weapon. Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, who made a statement on the subject, said, "Jandarma Specialist Sergeant Yavuz Güney, who is on duty under the command of Silvan Commando Regiment, was martyred as a result of a firearm accident despite all the interventions made at the hospital."

SOLDIER WITH SERIOUS INJURIES COULD NOT BE SAVED

According to the information received, a soldier named Yavuz Güney in Silvan district was shot when his friend accidentally fired his weapon while cleaning it. Upon notification, a medical team was dispatched to the scene. The soldier, who was seriously injured, could not be saved despite all the interventions made at Dicle University Hospital. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
