Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi spoke about the US-Israel-Iran tension at a program organized by the Turkey Press Federation. Minister Çiftçi stated that Turkey is closely monitoring the developments at the Iran border and announced that, based on the examinations and data collected, no extraordinary activity has been detected at the border gates so far.

The program carried out by the Turkish Press Federation (TÜBAF) included a visit by the Board Members and press members to Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi to congratulate him. During the visit, Minister Mustafa Çiftçi made statements regarding current issues.

TÜBAF President Sinan Burhan congratulated Minister Çiftçi and inquired about developments related to the US-Israel-Iran war.

In his statement, Mustafa Çiftçi said, "Comprehensive evaluations have been made in Turkey regarding the tension and the possibility of war between Iran, the US, and Israel, which is happening in our neighboring countries."

Emphasizing that the Ministry of Interior held a meeting over the weekend with the participation of all relevant institutions regarding the possibility of war starting, Minister Çiftçi stated, "The meeting included the General Directorate of Security, the Gendarmerie General Command, the Coast Guard Command, the Directorate General of Migration Management, and AFAD, among all relevant units. The potential effects of the war on Turkey and especially the possibility of migration movements were discussed."

We will pursue them wherever they are."

Minister Çiftçi emphasized that the fight against drugs is also among the most important priorities of the Ministry of Interior.
