According to the meteorological data, strong winds are expected to blow in the Marmara region until noon. Due to the storm, BUDO has canceled some of its trips. In Istanbul, no precipitation is expected throughout the week, while temperatures are predicted to be in the form of "Pastırma Ayazı" (a term used in Turkey to describe a warm spell in late autumn). The northern, inland, and western parts of the region will be partly cloudy, while the areas around Edirne and Kırklareli will experience heavy rainfall.

According to forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the northern, inland, and western parts of our country are expected to be partly cloudy with occasional very cloudy conditions, while light rain is predicted in the Edirne and Kırklareli regions during the morning hours, and other areas will be mostly clear. Winds are expected to blow strongly from the south and southwest directions along the Marmara and North Aegean coasts, occasionally reaching storm levels (50-70 km/h). Fog and occasional mist are expected in the inner parts of the Mediterranean, the southern and eastern parts of Central Anatolia, the inner parts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, and the northern parts of Eastern Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia during the night and morning hours.

In the Marmara Region, winds are expected to blow at storm levels of 50-70 km/h until noon.

Air temperature: Air temperatures are expected to rise by 2 to 4 degrees in the eastern regions, while no significant changes are expected in other areas.

Wind: Generally from the south, with light winds from the north in Southeastern Anatolia, occasionally moderate, while strong winds are expected along the Marmara and North Aegean coasts, occasionally reaching storm levels (50-70 km/h).

The Armutlu (İhlas) - Istanbul (Eminönü/Sirkeci) service scheduled for 18.11.2025 at 10:00 has been canceled due to adverse weather conditions.

The Istanbul (Eminönü/Sirkeci) - Bursa (Mudanya) service scheduled for 18.11.2025 at 11:30 has been canceled due to adverse weather conditions.

The Bursa (Mudanya) - Armutlu (İhlas) service scheduled for 18.11.2025 at 09:30 has been canceled due to adverse weather conditions.

No rainfall is expected in Istanbul throughout the week, while a partly cloudy, occasionally very cloudy sky is anticipated, with temperatures expected to range between 19-22 degrees, above seasonal norms (Pastirma Ayazı).

FERRY SERVICES TO BOZCAADA AND GÖKÇEADA CANCELED

The GESTAŞ company, which provides passenger and vehicle transportation on the Çanakkale Strait and Islands line, announced that some ferry services planned for today have been canceled due to the storm in the northern Aegean Sea. Accordingly, all scheduled services on the Geyikli-Bozcaada line have been canceled, while the 18:00 service from Geyikli and the 17:00 services from Bozcaada will be additionally operated. All ferry services planned on the Kabatepe-Gökçeada line have been canceled.
