A striking allegation has emerged regarding Uşak Mayor Özkan Yalım, who was detained half-naked in a hotel room in Ankara with his 21-year-old municipal employee girlfriend. It was claimed that the situation concerning Yalım had been known for a year, but despite being communicated to CHP officials, no intervention was made.
Scandalous images have marked the 'bribery' investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the Uşak Municipality. Uşak Mayor Özkan Yalım was detained half-naked in a hotel room in Ankara with his 21-year-old girlfriend. It was learned that Özkan's girlfriend is also the mayor.

A highly talked-about claim regarding Özkan Yalım has emerged from journalist İsmail Saymaz. Saymaz stated on a live broadcast on Halk TV that CHP officials have known about Yalım's situation for about a year but did not intervene. Saymaz said, "There is no defense for such a private life, my brother. A 60-year-old man cannot have a relationship with a 21-year-old girl."

Saymaz claimed that the images seized during the raid at Yalım's hotel would be examined to answer the question, "Are there any CHP members who come and stay here?" and that this also "includes Özgür Özel."
