President Erdoğan spoke at the International Peace and Security Forum in Turkmenistan. At the summit attended by Putin, Erdoğan stated, "It is our wish for the Russia-Ukraine war to come to an end. We are ready to provide concrete support for diplomatic initiatives aimed at a ceasefire and peace, especially the Istanbul process."

President Erdoğan, who came to the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, to attend the International Peace and Security Forum, participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Neutrality Monument with invited heads of state and government, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

After the family photo shoot, President Erdoğan addressed the participants in the general session titled "Peace and Security: Unity of Goals for a Sustainable Future."

Highlights from Erdoğan's speech are as follows:

"I want to express that we find today's forum very meaningful. We rejoice in every success of Turkmenistan since its independence. Turkmenistan has become a model country.

Turkmenistan and Turkey are two brotherly countries. Our hearts and our destination are one, just like our proverbs with Turkmenistan. We are advancing our relations in every field and further strengthening our solidarity. We are crowning our ongoing efforts with our human relations.

"THE RUSSIA-UKRAINE WAR MUST END"

In a period where uncertainties are increasing globally, we need to put our hands under the stone to establish international dialogue and peace. We are striving to create a peace belt around us.

It is our wish for the Russia-Ukraine war to end. We are ready to provide concrete support for ceasefire and diplomatic initiatives for peace, especially through the Istanbul process.

"CEASEFIRE IN GAZA MUST BE PERMANENT"

The ongoing ceasefire is fragile despite Israel's violations. The support of the international community is essential. Palestinians must also be included in the establishment of peace. The ultimate goal is a two-state solution. The time has come for the international community to pay its debt to the Palestinian people. Turkey is one of the leading countries in the world in mediation with its fair and impartial approach.

We are witnessing the most armed conflicts since World War II. Peace is only possible with justice.

I thank my dear brother Serdar Berdimuhammedov, who brings us together."
