Ahmet Tatlıses stated that he first learned about his father's health condition from the press, using expressions filled with grievance. Expressing his hurt, Tatlıses said:
“I learned about my father's condition from the press, and it hurt me a lot. Why wasn't İbrahim Tatlıses, who is lying there, called? I came 3 kilometers in 6 minutes... He said, ‘My son should come.’ Emotional moments were experienced; we both cried uncontrollably. My nose burst, it bled a lot... It could have been a brain hemorrhage. They intervened for 1.5 hours. My father's condition was very serious; his values had dropped, but I think he is better now.”

While it was learned that İbrahim Tatlıses, who is being treated in intensive care, is under control, it was also claimed that the artist would undergo gallbladder surgery. It was suggested that the operation was planned to be performed after the infection values were lowered.

It was learned that the artist's daughter, Dilan Çıtak Tatlıses, went to the hospital as soon as she received the news, while it was claimed that Ahmet Tatlıses could not go to the hospital due to the electronic bracelet on his ankle and could not approach his father.
Ahmet Tatlıses, who could not go to the hospital, was reported to be waiting at a mosque about 3 kilometers away and following the developments from there.
In the official statement from the hospital, it was expressed that İbrahim Tatlıses was admitted to the hospital with complaints of low blood pressure, was taken to intensive care as a precaution with a preliminary diagnosis of bacterial infection, and that he was conscious and in good general health.
