The death of Volkan Konak, known as "Son of the North," who collapsed on stage, has plunged Turkey into mourning. In response, singer and doctor Ferhat Göçer made a statement that has sparked much discussion. From the moment Volkan Konak fell on stage, it took 1 hour for him to reach the hospital's intensive care unit, despite rapid CPR being applied by a professional team. In such situations where every second is precious, a delay like this is inexcusable when CPR should be performed as quickly as possible while transferring to the hospital.
AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED
On the other hand, the TRNC police announced that an investigation has been initiated regarding Konak's death on stage. It was reported that the exact cause of death would be determined through further examinations.
HE WILL BE BURIED IN HIS HOMETOWN TRABZON
Volkan Konak's funeral will be taken to his hometown Maçka in Trabzon after the noon prayer to be held today at Levent Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque. He will be buried next to his father in the family cemetery tomorrow.
