As a result of targeting a clinic affiliated with the United Nations agency where displaced civilians are staying in the Gaza Strip, at least 19 people, including 9 children, lost their lives, and many others were injured.
Israel targeted a clinic belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) located in the Jabalia Refugee Camp in the Gaza Strip. It was reported that hundreds of displaced civilians were living in the clinic, which had previously been targeted by Israel.
19 DEAD, 9 OF THEM CHILDREN, MANY INJURED
In a statement, Munir el-Barash, the Director General of the Gaza Ministry of Health, said that 19 people, including 9 children, lost their lives in the attack, and many others were injured. According to local sources, many people burned to death due to the fire that broke out after the attack. While the building became unusable, it was learned that some Palestinians could not identify their relatives due to the bodies being unrecognizable.
50,423 PALESTINIANS KILLED
In the latest statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, it was noted that since Israel began its attacks on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the total death toll has risen to 50,423, and the number of injured has reached 114,638.
