"IT IS AN IMPERIALIST OPERATION" Presidential Chief Advisor Mehmet Uçum, in a statement on his social media account regarding the consumption boycott called for by Özel, said, "The consumption boycott is an imperialist operation."
Uçum noted: "The idea of calling consumers to a shopping boycott, that is, a consumption boycott, is part of the operations that global imperialism conducts against national states and national attitudes, and it is a new generation action based on legal violations. All new generation actions planned to be implemented through legal violations are projects of global imperialism. These are developed by global centers and activated in target countries where suitable conditions have been created. For example, today, the global centers that incite the consumption boycott action in Turkey are organizing a hands-off action against the Trump administration in the U.S. on April 5, which conflicts with globalists due to its national approaches. More than 600 planned actions, including rallies, marches, and protests, are being prepared in all 50 states."
Uçum listed the new generation actions as "Street actions and vandalism supported by symbolism", "Politically motivated economic and commercial boycotts targeting national and local firms", "Consumer shopping boycott (consumption boycott) targeting the entire economy", "The political cessation of general economic activity nationwide" and stated:
"TURKEY IS FACING A GLOBAL IMPERIALIST ATTACK" "Other types of actions based on legal violations can also be developed by global centers. Actions aimed at undermining the tourism and foreign trade of the target country through black propaganda have been implemented in the past and can be reintroduced. Today's national liberation wars are struggles to resist and repel the attacks of neoliberalism and global imperialism, which are based on new generation actions involving legal violations against national states. Turkey is once again facing a global imperialist attack through new generation actions initiated by the opposition's mandatorial factions under the pretext of corruption and terrorism investigations. If political actors who have accepted and declared to be mandatorial are also co-opted, more chaos strategies will be implemented to achieve the goal. It is seen that these dirty plans are being made for Turkey. However, global imperialism and local collaborators should know that the people of Turkey have never given any credit to such imperialist operations and will never do so in the future.
