The accident occurred in the Atatepe area of Süleymanpaşa district. The car driven by Ö.Ö. hit kindergarten teachers S.Ö. and Y.B., who were trying to cross at the pedestrian crossing and work at a private school. With the impact, the two teachers were thrown into the air and fell onto the road.

ONE TEACHER WAS MOVED OUT OF INTENSIVE CARE
The injured teachers were taken to Tekirdağ İsmail Fehmi Cumalıoğlu City Hospital by medical teams who came to the area upon notification. It was learned that S.Ö., who was seriously injured in the accident, was moved out of the intensive care unit and taken to a hospital ward, while Y.B. was discharged after treatment.
THE DRIVER ALSO TURNED OUT TO BE A TEACHER
The car driver Ö.Ö., who was taken into custody and learned to be a teacher, was referred to the courthouse after procedures at the police station. The driver was arrested by the court he was brought before. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
