CHP Aydın Deputy Süleyman Bülbül stated that depending on the Supreme Court's decision, they could launch a new political movement starting July 21 with approximately 100 deputies. Bülbül, who also released the results of three polls he commissioned in the last four days, claimed that the CHP under Özgür Özel's leadership has support in the range of 32-35%, while a structure under Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's leadership could receive between 2-5% of the vote.

CHP Aydın Deputy Süleyman Bülbül attended the member and delegate meeting organized by the CHP Karacasu District Administration.

"NO INJUNCTION PREVENTING THE CONGRESS FROM BEING HELD"

Bülbül argued that the CHP administration "cannot be determined by the will of the Palace" and stated that the General Chairman can only be elected through the will of the party organization and congress delegates.

Reminding the success in the March 31, 2024 local elections and the process under the leadership of General Chairman Özgür Özel, Bülbül referred to the events of May 24, saying, "The party building was entered with police and AFAD. The administration of the Republican People's Party cannot be determined by a court decision or the will of the Palace."

Claiming that "the spirit of opposition has been lost" at the Headquarters, Bülbül reacted to statements that the administration, which he claimed came to office through a court decision, would determine candidates in the elections. Stating that he examined the court decision as a legal expert, Bülbül argued that the decision only covers the administrative bodies before the 38th Congress, and there is no injunction preventing the congress from being held.

"SIGNATURES ARE BEING HELD UP"

Stating that convening an extraordinary congress is mandatory according to Article 48 of the party bylaws, Bülbül said that a total of 1,003 delegate signatures, including 833 notarized ones, have been submitted to the Headquarters.

Expressing that the signatures could be examined in a short time, Bülbül said, "The aim is not to hold a congress, but to occupy the party until the election and not oppose the Palace."

"THE CONGRESS MUST BE HELD BEFORE JULY 26"

Stating that the current administration must respond to the call for an extraordinary congress by July 11, Bülbül claimed that if the congress is not held before July 26, the CHP may face legal risks regarding participation in the election.

Noting that they will apply to the Civil Court of Peace to form a convening committee if the congress is not convened, Bülbül said the process before the judicial recess is critical.

"SHARED RESULTS OF THREE POLLS"

Also revealing the results of three polls he said he commissioned in the last four days, Bülbül claimed that the CHP under Özgür Özel's leadership receives support in the 32-35 percent range, while a structure under Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's leadership could receive between 2-5 percent of the vote.

SET A DATE: WE CAN LAUNCH A NEW FORMATION WITH 100 MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT

Stating that the Court of Cassation must issue its decision on the "absolute nullity" case before the judicial recess, Bülbül said, "If the absolute nullity case is overturned by the Court of Cassation by July 20, we will come to power as the locomotive of all opposition together with our elected General Chairman Özgür Özel. If it is not overturned, with God's permission, a new sun will rise after July 21. We, with nearly 100 of our 111 MPs, will press the button for this new formation if it happens, after exhausting all legal avenues. We are not running away; we are changing the form of struggle. As İsmet İnönü said: 'A new world is being established, and Turkey will take its place there.' We will all take our places," he said.
