TÜVTÜRK made an important reminder for vehicle owners who benefit from the tax debt restructuring by the Revenue Administration. Under normal circumstances, vehicles with unpaid Motor Vehicle Tax, traffic fines, and bridge toll debts cannot undergo inspection; however, those who restructure and pay their debts in installments can have their inspections carried out during the payment process. The deadline for applications for this practice, which removes obstacles to driving upon fulfilling legal obligations, has been announced as August 31, 2026.

Thanks to the implementation carried out by the Revenue Administration, vehicle owners who have restructured their debts can perform vehicle inspection procedures during the restructuring period. The last date for applications has been announced as August 31, 2026.
ATTENTION THOSE WITH TAX DEBTS
According to the current practice, inspection procedures cannot be carried out for vehicles that have debts arising from motor vehicle tax (MTV), default interest and penalties related to this tax, traffic administrative fines, and highway toll fees. However, if these debts are restructured and paid in installments, vehicle owners can have their vehicles inspected as long as the payment plan continues. Thus, both legal obligations are fulfilled and the obstacle preventing vehicles from being used in traffic is removed.

Vehicle owners who have restructured their debts can also have their vehicles inspected during the restructuring period. We also contribute to the process by informing vehicle owners about this implementation carried out by the Revenue Administration. While the application period continues, we recommend that vehicle owners who can benefit from this opportunity complete their procedures on time and not delay their vehicle inspections.'
