Support came from close friend Zafer Algöz for famous actor Ozan Güven, who was sentenced to prison for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Deniz Bulutsuz and was recently thrown out of a venue in Kadıköy, Istanbul, with chants of "Criminals out." Algöz said, "It is not pleasant for someone to see themselves above the judiciary and judge another person. Ozan showed gentlemanliness and restrained himself. If it were me, I might have reacted differently."
While being protested and forced out with slogans at a venue in Istanbul's Kadıköy district for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Deniz Bulutsuz, Ozan Güven received support from his close friend Zafer Algöz. Algöz stated that it is not right for a person to see themselves above the judiciary and judge another person.

Stating that Ozan Güven remained calm during the incident, Algöz expressed that the actor displayed gentlemanly conduct. Algöz said, "It is not pleasant for someone to see themselves above the judiciary and judge another person. Ozan showed gentlemanly behavior and restrained himself. If it were me, I might have reacted differently."
