While 9 names from Ozgur Ozel's A-team in CHP were referred to the disciplinary committee with a demand for definitive expulsion, it is claimed that the expulsion wave will not be limited to these. According to the rumor circulating behind the scenes, the second expulsion list includes Adnan Beker, Cemal Enginyurt, Mahmut Tanal, Umit Dikbayır, and Gokhan Zeybek.
The Central Executive Board (MYK) of the CHP convened at the party headquarters under the chairmanship of Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. CHP Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Müslim Sarı made a statement regarding the agenda of the MYK meeting, which lasted 4 hours. Sarı stated that they made a number of well-intentioned attempts following the absolute nullity decision, but these efforts did not yield results.
EXPULSION DEMAND FOR 9 INDIVIDUALS IN CHP
Sarı announced the names of those whose party memberships were suspended and referred to the disciplinary board with a demand for definitive expulsion. Sarı used the following expressions: "Our Balıkesir Deputy Ensar Aytekin, our Mersin Deputy Ali Mahir Başarır, our Istanbul Deputy Gökhan Günaydın, our Bursa Deputy Nurhayat Altaca Kayışoğlu, our Istanbul Deputy Özgür Karabat, our Ankara Deputy Umut Akdoğan, our Malatya Deputy Veli Ağbaba, our Istanbul Deputy Turan Taşkın Özer, and our Adana Deputy Burhanettin Bulut."
These friends were subject to a decision we made because they were included in the indictments, within the framework of our clean politics understanding, and in order to contribute to the formation of our purification policy. The judicial process is undoubtedly ongoing. Criminal cases continue; in the coming period, these friends will have to prove themselves and defend themselves before the judiciary. They will come after being acquitted. After acquittal, our door is open to all these friends, and they will continue to remain."
5 MORE INDIVIDUALS WILL BE EXPELLED
While harsh reactions came one after another from the individuals whose expulsion was demanded, journalist Sinan Burhan brought up a claim that will be widely discussed. Speaking on Bengü Türk TV's live broadcast, Burhan claimed that the expulsions would not be limited to 9 individuals. Burhan alleged that Adnan Beker, Cemal Enginyurt, Mahmut Tanal, Ümit Dikbayır, and Gökhan Zeybek are the individuals to be expelled in the second wave. Burhan also asserted that Özgür Özel might resign tomorrow.
